Fresh off the showroom at the LA Auto Show, we’ve got some new photos of the new 2012 Hyundai Azera. We’re really impressed by what we’ve seen so far in the 2012 Hyundai Azera. It goes on sale in North America in February so look out for it at World Hyundai Matteson. The Azera finally received the infamous “Fluidic Sculpture” treatment that most other Hyundai vehicles have undergone lately and it’s looking quite impressive! In 2006, Hyundai tried their hand at the nice, bigger front-wheel-drive sedans with the Azera. While more popular (and arguably nicer) models have been released such as the Genesis and the Sonata, the Azera has stuck through and has been a quiet contender for one of Hyundai’s top models. The latest overhaul and redesign of the Azera gives it a premium feel and remarkable swagger.
The updated 2012 Hyundai Azera brings a 3.3 liter V6 with direct injection to the party. Offering 293 horsepower and 255 lb-ft of torque. It’s not too bad on gas, either, at an estimated 20 miles per gallon in the city and 29 miles per gallon on the highway.
The previously optional equipment of the older model now comes standard with a navigation system complete with rearview camera and Blue Link telematics system. Stay warm in those cold Chicago winters with leather interior complete with heated front and rear seats. 18″ alloy wheels give the Azera a premium feel while the Vehicle stability management are one of many standard safety features.
