How much cooler could the Hyundai Equus get? Well, today…we found out.
At today’s big reveal at the 2010 New York Auto Show, Hyundai announced that they will be replacing the paper version of the Equus owner manual with a “multimedia tablet”. Hyundai didn’t explicitly say that the multimedia tablet that was going to be used was the Apple iPad, but the image that was presented was unquestionably Apple’s latest electronic gadget, however, there is no guarantee that the Equus won’t switch to a competing tablet.
The multimedia tablet will not only replace the owner’s manual, it will handle the customer/dealer interactions like scheduling service appointments.
